Delicious tropical fruit also known by other names such as “Ananá” or “Naná” in some places. It has an oval shape, a crown and a very rough greenish skin color gradually it becomes yellow and brown as the pineapple matures and emits a pleasant odor when it is ready to eat. Inside has a very sweet and juicy yellow flesh.
Frozen pineapple pulp is 100% natural, no preservatives or chemicals, as well as being a rich, healthy and refreshing food. We can consume it in desserts, juices, jams, cocktails, etc.

RECIPES
1.       Tequila sunrise (cocktail)
 
Ingredients:
50 grams of frozen pineapple pulp
1½ measure tequila
½ measure grenadine liquor.
1 part orange juice.
1 tablespoon sugar.
 
Directions:
 
Blend the pineapple pulp with sugar.
Pour tequila, orange juice and pineapple in a glass with ice.
Add grenadine liquor, giving the necessary time to decant.
You can decorate the glass with half a slice of fresh pineapple.
 
2.       Nutritious Piña colada
               Ingredients:
 1/2 cup coconut chopped (you can also use frozen pulp)
1/2 cup frozen pineapple pulp
 1/4 cup melon (optional)
2 cups coconut water
1 tablespoon chia
2 drops vanilla essence

Directions:
Blend for 1 minute and half:  coconut water, coconut pulp, pineapple pulp and melon until it acquires a frappe consistency.
Add chia and vanilla, blend again for 30 seconds. No need to sweeten because coconut water is sweet in itself, but you can use honey or sugar.
Decorate with fruit: cherries, pineapple slices.
 
3.       Quick pineapple cake:
 
Ingredients:

300 grams of pineapple pulp
80 grams of butter
4 eggs
¾ cup sugar
1 and ¼ cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions:

Beat eggs with sugar, cream as possible.
Add the melted butter and continue beating a few minutes.
Sift flour with baking powder and add the eggs without stop beating at any time.
Once achieved a homogeneous mixture add the pineapple pulp stirring slowly. We put in a greased round cake mold previously.
You can place pineapple slices over the mixture in the mold.
Bring to a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 30-40 minutes.
